Consultation
Dr Prasad is available for a detailed consultation in person to discuss various treatment options. Please ensure you bring in all the scans, reports, and details of the patient, so as to get a complete holistic view of the diagnosis, which will help to plan the optimal treatment. In case consultation in person is not feasible, video consultation can be organised for the convenience of the patient.
Second Opinion

Many patients experience confusion at the time of diagnosis of cancer or while planning the line of treatment. Dr Prasad is available to provide an independent expert second opinion based on the latest scientific evidence, and guides patients to choose the best course of action.
Ethos Adaptive Radiotherapy

Dr Prasad is the first oncologist to launch the most advanced adaptive radiotherapy with surface guided radiotherapy in India. In adaptive radiotherapy, we are able to detect changes in the various organs in the body, and the tumour on daily basis. AT every treatment, the Artificial Intelligence algorithm detects these changes, and prepares a completely new plan for each patient for each treatment, making the treatment highly customised and precise. This helps is to make the treatment more accurate and reduce potential side effects. Patients undergoing treatment for cancers of mouth, throat, prostate, rectum, uterus, cervix, etc will benefit from adaptive radiotherapy.
SGRT

Dr Prasad is the pioneer of SGRT in India and has gained vast experience in this cutting-edge technology. While receiving radiotherapy, the surface of the patient’s body moves continuously due to breathing and other reasons. This is a challenge in ensuring accurate delivery of radiation. SGRT helps to track the moving surface of the patient’s body, and interrupts treatment when the movement exceeds the set limits. SGRT has significantly improved the accuracy of radiotherapy delivery and is recommended in most patients. This is used in combination with adaptive radiotherapy and other precision radiotherapy techniques.
IGRT / IMRT / Rapid Arc (VMAT)

Advanced radiotherapy techniques such as IMRT (Intensity Modulated Radiotherapy), IGRT (Image Guided Radiotherapy), and Rapid Arc (VMAT – Volumetric Modulated Arc Therapy) have revolutionised radiotherapy by precisely focussing the dose of radiation on the tumour and sparing critical organs. Compared to older techniques such as 3DCRT or conventional 2D radiotherapy, these advanced techniques have significantly lower side effects. In patients where adaptive radiotherapy is not a treatment option, these precision radiotherapy techniques are the most appropriate techniques for treatment.
Radiosurgery

Stereotactic Radiosurgery (SRS) or Stereotactic Body Radiotherapy (SBRT) are extremely precise radiotherapy techniques where we deliver a high dose of radiotherapy to a tumour in a single or up to 5 cycles of radiation. This treatment is needs very careful planning and used commonly to treat certain brain tumours, liver tumours, lung cancers, and metastatic tumours in lungs, brain, bones, liver etc. It is not surgery in the traditional sense, but is called so because it delivers ablative doses of radiation with surgical precision to eliminate tumours, without involving any surgery or anaesthesia.
