What are the basic medicines required in our home?

Medicines

This is a small list of medicines we should keep at home. You do need to check with your doctor before you take them.

Headache / mild aches & pain: Tab Dolo 650 as and when needed. Maximum 3 per day.

Mild acidity : Syr Gelusil MPS / Syr Digene 2 spoon three time a day.

Recurring acidity : Tab Pan 40 once or twice a day before eating.

Body ache : Tab Combiflam as and when needed. Maximum 3 per day. Always taken after food.

Mild muscle spazm : Volini / Moove gel for local application.

Moderate to severe muscle spazm : Tab Flexom MR. Always taken after food & maximum 3 per day.

Dehydration : Electral powder, 1 sachet in 1 lit water. Can drink 1- 2 liters as per need.

Watery loose motions , no fever, no bad smell: Cap Imodium as needed. Maximum 3 per day. After every loose motion drink lot of electral powder water.

Loose motions with lot of gas, bad smell and fever: Tab Ciplox TZ twice a day for 5 days. Take Imodium only if needed. After every loose motion drink lot of electral powder water.

Excessive sneezing & runny nose: Tab Levocet 10 mg in the night. Do not drive or use machines if you are using this medicine.

Cough : Syr Zedex / Syr Adulsa 2 spoons thrice a day. Do not drive or use machines if you are using Zedex.

Mouth ulcers : Tab Supradyn once a day for 10 days. Mucopain gel 5-6 times a day.

Mild Nausea/Vomiting : Tab Pan D twice a day before food.

Minor cuts : Waterproof bandaids

Burns : Kailash Jivan

Minor superficial wounds / falls: Soframycine cream thrice a day. Keep the area clean. Check with doctors.
